Seattle Police detectives are investigating a fatal collision in the Greenwood neighborhood this afternoon.
At 3:24 p.m., patrol officers responded with the Seattle Fire Department (SFD) to a multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcyclist in the 700 block of North 80th Street.
The motorcycle was reportedly driving recklessly in traffic and collided into multiple vehicles before coming to rest underneath a vehicle.
SFD provided medical aid to the motorcyclist. Despite all lifesaving measures, the adult male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers cordoned off the area and detectives with the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad responded to the scene.
