#2024-146385/West Precinct/First Watch:
At approximately 0859 hours, the victim stated that they were involved in a road age incident as they were driving on I-5 South near Northgate. The victim decided to follow the suspect so they could take picture of the driver and vehicle. At the exit ramp by downtown Convention Center, the suspect fired approximately 4 shots in the air and drove away. The victim called 911 and reported the incident. No injury was reported. SPD took primary of the incident.
#2024-146835/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1706 hours, while taking a suspect into custody for a misdemeanor assault, the suspect became combative biting an officer on the hand and later kicking his shin. The bite did not break the skin. The suspect was successfully arrested with no use of force and booked into KCJ for the assault on the officer.
#2024-146926/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1912 hours, CRG Officers located a vehicle wanted for eluding the previous week. Officers contacted the vehicle. While contacting the vehicle a stationary tire deflation device was deployed. The suspect refused to exit the vehicle and fled the scene. In the processes of fleeing, the suspect drove over the tire deflation device. Officers located the vehicle and the suspect tried to flee on foot, but officers quickly took him into custody. The suspect was arrested for eluding and multiple felony warrants. The suspect was booked into SCORE.
#2024-146926/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1552 hours, in the Crown Hill neighborhood a vehicle struck a pedestrian and dragged the pedestrian for roughly 30-40 feet, trapping the pedestrian under the vehicle. As officers arrived on scene a nearby resident utilized a floor jack to lift the vehicle off of the pedestrian. The pedestrian had multiple soft tissue injuries, a fracture to her lower leg, and possible internal injuries. She was transported to HMC in stable condition. A DRE noted signs of impairment. The suspect was booked into KCJ for Vehicular Assault.
#2024-147048/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 2226 hours, patrol responded to a report of shots in the area of the 2800 block of SW Nevada ST. Upon arrival, officers located three spent shell casings in the roadway. No victims or known property damage located. The scene was processed by patrol
