#2024-159321/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0042 hours, officers responded with Seattle Fire Department for two suspicious fires near each other in the East Precinct. In both instances, dumpsters caught fire next to buildings. One fire spread from one dumpster to a garage before it was extinguished. The other dumpster fire was contained and did not cause any significant damage. Fire Marshal 5 responded and determined the fires were intentionally set. The Incidents were screened with ABS.
#2024-159311/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0016 hours, officers responded to a DUI collision at Palm Avenue Southwest and Atlantic Street. Police contacted two subjects to investigate the DUI. One of the suspects pushed an officer during the investigation, and he was taken into custody. The suspect was arrested for DUI and assault.
#2024-159665/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0400 hours, officers responded the area of 105 and North Park AV N for a shooting call follow up. Police responded to a shooting call last night around 107 and Aurora AV N, but no crime scene or witnesses were located (2024-159394). Officers obtained evidence that showed occupants of a silver Hyundai shooting at the occupants of a black Chevy. Bullet damage was located, but no shell casings were located. GVRU notified.
#2024-159747/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1204 hours, officers responded to a report of a male brandishing knives toward the caller. Police located the suspect who fled on foot with officers in chase. The suspect brandished the knives towards officers. The suspect was taken into custody and booked into KCJ.
#2024-160263/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2207 hours, officers were dispatched to a call for a missing child. Police responded to the scene and immediately began an area check for the missing child. The primary officer met with the parents at the home and learned that the missing child was carrying the father’s cell phone. Officers were able to track the location of the phone with the father’s laptop. Officers and the father responded to the location of the phone and located the missing child. The child was reunited with his family.
#2024-160321/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2339 hours, multiple callers reported hearing shots in the 6900 block of Delridge Wy Sw. Officers arrived at the scene and located spent shell casings in the roadway. No victims nor any property damage were located. The casings were photographed and placed into evidence. Gun Violence Reduction Unit was notified of the incident.
