#2024-187293/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0235 hours, Officers responded to a call of shots heard. A victim called in stating their vehicle was shot at but had no injuries. Officers located the scene at N 101st St/Linden Ave N where 24 casing were found. The casings were photographed and placed into evidence. This incident was screened with GVRU.
#2024-188246/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0936 hours, Officers responded to a disturbance inside a convenience store where two employees were assaulted by the suspect. Officers arrived and detained the suspect as she was leaving the store. The suspect intentionally struck the officer in the head. While in handcuffs the suspect kicked backwards striking the same officer in the leg.
#2024-188279/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 1007 hours, a juvenile called 911 to report that his grandfather threatened to kill his grandmother with a machete. Officers responded to the apartment complex in the area of SW Trenton St/25 Av SW. Upon Officers? arrival, the suspect allowed the victim and juvenile to exit the apartment unit, but he quickly barricaded himself and refused to come out. Containment for the apartment unit was established and HNT, 251, SWAT Lt (271), Car25, and CSOs responded to the scene. The primary Officer developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for Investigation of DV Harassment. While the primary Officer worked on the search warrant, the suspect managed to rappel from his third story balcony to the unit below without any Officers noticing. The suspect attempted to flee on foot, but he was quickly apprehended without incident by Officers and a Lt on containment. Officers served the search warrant to retrieve the machete/knife. The victim and juvenile suffered no injuries and were transported to the SW Precinct where the CSOs provided them with food and resources.
#2024-188387/North Precinct/Second Watch:
Last week first watch officers responded to a shooting at a McDonalds in Ballard (2024-188387). The victim had been shot in the abdomen and transported to HMC. A white range rover with distinctive rims was seen fleeing the scene, and a witness stated the driver, a bearded white male, was the shooter. Today at 1159 hours, an SFD Firefighter saw the vehicle at the Wendys in Ballard, only a couple of blocks from the original shooting. Officers responded to the area, located the vehicle, and a pursuit was authorized. The vehicle fled from the officers who lost sight of the suspect vehicle. The vehicle became disabled after driving over a round-about and the suspect fled on foot but was detained by nearby construction workers. Type 1 force was utilized to effect the arrest. The suspect had a single 38 caliber round in his pocket along with a firearms optic. K9 responded for an evidence search, but the firearm was not located. The vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant. The suspect was booked, John DOE, into KCJ for Eluding and DUI. Assault investigation is ongoing. 222 and GVRU were notified.
#2024-187548/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1900 hours, the Human Trafficking Unit (Vice), with the assistance of Detectives from MCTF, ICAC, SAU, DV and Officers from CRT, CRG, West/Southwest Precincts, conducted an undercover buyer suppression operation along the Aurora corridor in North Seattle. This operation resulted in the arrest of five males for various crimes, including: Possession of a stolen vehicle, DUI/DRE, Patronizing a Prostitute and VUCSA PWI.
#2024-188912/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2128 hours, Officers observed a suspect near the intersection of 3 Av / Pike St carrying narcotics paraphernalia. The officers detained the suspect. A routine records check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect fled on foot. Officers pursued the suspect and caught up with him. The suspect began to fight with officers. Officers took the suspect into custody. The suspect was later booked into KCJ.
