Seattle Police arrested a man on a federal fugitive warrant in Capitol Hill last week.
On July 7th at 7:27 a.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a man passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle near 12th Avenue and East Pine Street.
Officers located the man armed with a semi-automatic handgun. They safely removed the firearm and detained the suspect.
An identification check revealed the man was wanted by the United States Marshals Service (USMS) for parole violation due to cocaine possession.
The 39-year-old male was arrested for the warrant, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm 1st Degree.
He was booked into King County Jail and the USMS was notified.
