Seattle Police detectives are investigating a drive-by-shooting in Capitol Hill Saturday morning.
At 3:09 a.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of 10th Avenue East.
Police arrived and located two victims seeking refuge nearby. A 22-year-old male was grazed by a bullet in his leg. A woman, 33 was shot in both of her hands.
Both victims were treated by the Seattle Fire Department. The woman was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
Multiple shell casings were recovered in the 1100 block of 10th Avenue East. The vehicle was damaged by multiple points of gunfire.
The suspect(s) fled the area in a vehicle and were not located. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
Detectives with the Gun Violence Reduction Unit processed the scene and have taken lead on this investigation.
