On July 24th, homicide detectives identified the suspect, 41, and booked him into King County Jail for Investigation of Murder.
Seattle Police detectives are investigating a homicide in Lake City this morning.
At 4:45 a.m., patrol officers responded a report of a vehicle and pedestrian collision in the 12500 block of 30th Avenue Northeast.
Police arrived and located a 33-year-old male in the roadway. The Seattle Fire Department was on scene providing medical aid. Despite all lifesaving measures the victim was pronounced deceased.
Officers determined that a disturbance occurred between two males prior to the collision. The suspect fled the area and has not been located.
Detectives with the Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigation Unit arrived and processed the scene.
