#2024-214936/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1212 hours, Officers responded to a call for expedited response from SFD. SFD reported that there was a group of suspects throwing rocks at one of their ladder trucks. Officers arrived on scene and found that there was one suspect who had thrown a larger than fist sized rock directly at a firefighter. The rock missed and struck the fire truck. the suspect was still on scene and was placed under arrest. No firefighters were injured. The suspect had a previous history of crisis and assaults on officers. The suspect was arrested for assault 3 and was taken to KCJ. 242 Notified.

#2024-215381/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 1930 hours, officers responded to Rainier Ave S and S Alaska St to reports of a male shot. Officers arrived and located the male victim with a GSW to the right leg and provided medical aid until SFD transported him to HMC in serious but stable condition. The suspect fled on foot prior to officers arriving but officers were able to get descriptions and photos of the suspect from local businesses. KCSO and Tukwila PD K9s responded to assist with the search for the suspect. About 10 minutes after the shooting, another victim called 911 to report a male had threatened them with a gun around MLK Jr Way S and S Dawson St. The description of this suspect matched the description of the suspect from the shooting. Officers responded to the area, located the suspect, and took him into custody. Despite officers and K9 searching for the firearm, it was not recovered. The suspect was booked into KCJ for Assault 1 and Attempted Robbery. GVRU responded and assisted with interviews.

#2024-215303/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1900 hours, East Precinct Officer requested a West Officer look for a stolen vehicle that was mapping in Queen Sector. The vehicle was located but the animal that was stolen along with the vehicle was missing. A short while later, Officers located a male walking with the dog. The dog was recovered but at that time they did not have enough to place the suspect inside of the stolen vehicle. The owners of the vehicle responded to the scene and probable cause was developed to place the suspect in the vehicle. Officers relocated the suspect who ran from them. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody.
