Seattle Police arrested a man for making domestic violence threats in South Seattle Monday night.
On August 12th at 9:56 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of threats with a gun in the 5400 block of South Ryan Street. The 34-year-old female victim was unharmed, and the suspect was attempting to flee the scene.
Police initiated a high-risk vehicle stop and took the male into custody. While investigating, patrol officers recovered multiple pieces of evidence including:

• 26-round magazine and 26 rounds
• Spartan Armor Systems plate carrier and rifle plate
• 309.7g suspected Marijuana
• 14.7g suspected Cocaine
• 10.1g suspected Crack Cocaine
• 36.8g suspected Morphine
• 47 pink suspected 10mg OxyContin pills
• 82 blue suspected 30mg OxyContin pills
• $8,113 in cash
The 30-year-old suspect is a convicted felon. He was placed under arrest for Felony Harassment, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and multiple counts of Possession/Sale/Delivery of Narcotics in Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.
The man was booked into King County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. Detectives in the felony Domestic Violence Unit have taken lead on this case.
