#2024-229241/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1610 hours, Officers located an occupied stolen vehicle in Nora Sector. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the vehicle fled. The stolen vehicle was abandoned a few blocks away from where officers attempted to stop it. The driver was located nearby, at which point he fled from officers on foot. Type 2 force was used, and the suspect was taken into custody. He was booked into the King County Jail for Possession of a stolen vehicle, Obstruction, DUI, and for several warrants. 222 and PIO notified.
#2024-229424/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1902 hours, Officers responded to location reference an assault. Upon arrival, Officers located the suspect walking away and he was contacted. While trying to place handcuffs on the suspect, he intentionally grabbed an officer’s forearm and dug his nails into the officer’s skin, causing scratch marks. The suspect also intentionally kicked another officer in the leg. The suspect was subsequently placed into handcuffs. Suspect was booked into KCJ for assault 3. There were no actual officer injuries. 213 was notified.
#2024-229549/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1926 hours, West PCT officers responded to a bias crime call. The victim stated that the suspect slapped him and threatened to burn him in a fire while making derogatory comments about his immigration status. The suspect left the scene prior to officers arriving. The officers on scene conducted a thorough investigation, collected evidence, and later documented the incident in a report.
