#2024-246822/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1900 hours, CRG conducted a narcotics operation focusing on the 1400 block of 3 Ave. Two arrests were made for VUCSA PWI. Narcotics and money were seized as evidence. During the second arrest, several subjects who were in the vicinity of the arrest caused a large disturbance which resulted in officers calling for a fast back. The several subjects tried to enter the area of the arrest to interfere and had to be ordered and moved back. One suspect assaulted an officer and was arrested. All arrestees were booked into KCJ. The officer was uninjured. CRG and West Patrol responded to these incidents. CRG1 screened the assault on the officer.

#2024-246581/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:

At 2049 hours, East Precinct officers were dispatched to Swedish Hospital regarding a patient that was assaulted at a retirement home in West Seattle. The victim reported that the morning of 8/31/2024 he was making coffee in the lobby of his building when he was assaulted without warning by another resident of the building. The victim stated he was repeatedly struck by a walking stick. The suspect reportedly told the victim to go back to Fiji during the assault. The victim took a bus to Swedish Hospital and was then transferred to HMC. The victim suffered multiple fractured ribs and a pneumothorax.

#2024-247091/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2358 hours, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area of N 143rd St/ Aurora Ave N. At the time an occupied auto recovery was holding in the area. The incidents ended up being related. The registered owner of the vehicle observed his stolen vehicle parked at Aliberto’s at N 143rd St/Aurora Ave N. A passenger exited the stolen vehicle, and the vehicle left northbound on Aurora Ave N. The registered owner’s cousin followed the stolen vehicle in his own vehicle. The stolen vehicle circled the area and eventually went south past the Aliberto’s with the registered owner’s cousin following behind. As the vehicles passed the Aliberto’s the passenger that had exited the stolen vehicle when it was still parked at Aliberto’s was on foot and shot at the cousin’s vehicle. The stolen vehicle then drove away, and the cousin stopped following. The victim was not injured. The victim had his 7-year-old daughter in the vehicle with him, she was uninjured as well. Officers located bullet holes in the victim’s vehicle and a bullet fragment on Aurora Ave N. The stolen vehicle was later recovered unoccupied in the parking lot directly north of the Aliberto’s
