#2024-247303/South Precinct/First Watch:
At 0630 hours, Officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress. This business has recently been the victim to frequent burglaries. Officers arrived within minutes of the call and established containment. The location was a scrap yard that is very large with a lot of places for the suspect to hide, so K9 was requested and responded to the scene. K9 arrived on-scene and conducted a successful K9 track that lead to the capture and arrest of the suspect.
#2024-248032/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2221 hours, SW Patrol responded to a report of shots heard in the area of 14 Ave S and S Director St. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting on 14 Ave S stretching from S Director St to S Henderson St. Fifteen .40 S&W FCC’s were recovered from the scene and submitted to SPD Evidence. No victims were located on scene and no property damage was found at this time. A search for active surveillance cameras was also negative at this time.
