#2024-255856/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0057 hours, officers on-viewed a fire between two apartment buildings. SFD was called. The officers’ attempts to extinguish the fire, however their attempts were unsuccessful. The fire quickly spread to both apartment buildings. Police went in to begin evacuating the buildings. SFD arrived and the fire was extinguished. The fire damage went up to all three stories of both apartment buildings. There were no injuries. Seattle Fire Department Marshall 5 arrived on scene. ABS screened the incident.
#2024-256515/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1500 hours, officers responded to a report of a trespassing in the 1500 block of Broadway. During investigation, officers discovered PC existed for burglary. Police also learned the suspect threatened to behead an unrelated victim due to her races and sex. The victim feared the suspect would assault her and believed it was due to her race. An initial search for the suspect was negative; however, a few hours later officers returned to find the suspect back within the building. the suspect was taken into custody without issue and refused to identify himself to officers. The suspect was booked into KCJ for the investigations of burglary and hate crime. LT screened, bias crimes and violent crimes notified.
#2024-256871/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1500 hours, West Precinct Officers continued the Pike / Pine emphasis. Officers arrested four drug dealers and recovered fentanyl, crack cocaine and methamphetamine.
