#2024-261331/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0309 hours, call received by apartment resident reporting a bullet fired through his ceiling from the upstairs unit. A television was damaged, but no persons were injured. Officers arrived, detained the suspect and seized the firearm. Witnesses in the upstairs unit stated the suspect was drunk and upset over a recent fight. They stated they watched him draw a pistol from his holster and fire one round into the floor of the apartment unit. Photos and statements taken. Suspect booked into KCJ.
#2024-261347/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0355 hours, an Officer was assigned hospital guard duty at HMC. At some point social worker asked to have a conversation with the suspect. Officer stepped out of the room and under some unknown circumstances the suspect was able to escape. The social worker emerged from the room and told the officer the suspect left. After a foot pursuit the suspect fell and was apprehended without incident at 7/S James street. Suspect was transported back to HMC for more medical evaluation via AMR. 231 was notified.
#2024-261268/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0027 hours, an Officer on-viewed a wrong-way driver on 4 AV and turned around to attempt a traffic stop. The Officer located a collision involving the wrong-way driver and a second vehicle at a nearby intersection. Upon contact, the wrong-way driver was immediately aggressive, exited the vehicle, confronted the Officer and refused orders to move back. A fastback was called. Backing Officers arrived and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident. Suspect booked into KCJ. Incident screened with 213.
#2024-262065/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2033 hours, the suspect walked into the business displayed a handgun. The suspect got money from the register and left in an unknown direction. Officers responded and area check for the suspect was negative. Robbery was notified of the incident
