#2024-275706/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0032 hours, call received by a resident reporting he had been shot at. The suspect fled westbound on a Lime scooter. Officers arrived and located one .40 FCC. The victim reported that the suspect bumped into him on the sidewalk. The victim used some choice words to tell the suspect to watch where he was going. The suspect fired one round towards the victim then fled southbound into a telephone pole then westbound on E Thomas St. The victim was not struck, and no property appeared to have been damaged. The suspect was not located.
#2024-275648/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2307 hours, Officers responded to an attempted carjacking at 14303 Aurora Ave N. The two suspects, one armed with a handgun, attempted to steal the victim’s vehicle but were startled by an initially unseen passenger in the vehicle. The suspects fled in separate directions and were not located.
#2024-275948/West Precinct/First Watch:
At approximately 0948 hours, a female security guard (for Amazon) observed a suspicious male loitering in front of an Amazon building on 6 Ave and decided to contact the male. The suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the victim with it. The suspect then chased the victim around the block with the knife. Patrol quickly arrived and took the suspect in custody after a brief pursuit. The suspect was booked into KC Jail for Investigation of Harassment. The victim was exhausted from running but was unharmed.
#2024-275881/South Precinct/First Watch:
At 0650 hours, a neighbor called 911 and said he had seen two masked males pushing his neighbor’s classic car out of his driveway and down the road. The caller provided a description of the suspects, the car they arrived in, the car’s license plate, and the suspect’s last direction of travel. Officers arrived on scene and were able to locate the suspect vehicle and one suspect. That suspect was detained. The Officers were also able to locate the victim vehicle a few blocks away and remembered a person walking away from it as they were arriving in the area. Officers located the second suspect in the back yard of a vacant house. The suspect aggressively resisted Officers and fled on foot. A foot pursuit was initiated. The suspect then attempted to assault Officers with a rock and a type II UOF occurred. The suspect was booked into King County Jail without incident.
#2024-275904/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0836 hours, the incident occurred at the DESC Kerner Scott House 510 Minor Av N. The suspect (a resident) intentionally set several items on fire and flooded the entire first floor. The suspect had history of setting things on fire, several reported and unreported incidents according to staff. At the time of this incident, the suspect had a Felony Warrant for Malicious Mischief 1st Degree. SFD Fire Marshall responded to the scene. Arson Bomb Squad was notified by SFD Fire Marshall. The suspect was (declined) not successfully booked into KC Jail because of undetermined medical issue. The suspect was taken to HMC for medical evaluation.
#2024-276488/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2041 hours, on the listed date at 2041 hours SW Patrol responded to a report of shots fired in the area on 10 Ave S and S Elmgrove St. A dark colored sedan fled the area at the time of the shots. Responding Officers located the scene and processed the scene for evidence, collecting one 9mm FCC and six .380 FCC’s lying in the roadway. No victims or property damage were located despite an extensive search. No surveillance cameras were located on the block to capture the incident. GVRU was notified as well as SPD Media.
#2024-276566/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2212 hours, Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Subway located at 2727 4 Av S. Two suspects described as BM, teens-20’s all in black clothing both armed entered the business and point a firearm at the employee demanding money. Once suspect jumped over the counter and the other went around the counter. Employee opened the till, and the suspects took $186 from the till. Suspects demanded money from the safe, but the employee told the suspects he didn’t have the combination for it. Suspects fled the store, L/S SB on 4th. It was presumed by witness outside the business that the suspect fled in a vehicle parked nearby. No vehicle information. Incident was screened with Robbery Unit.
#2024-276614/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2307 hours, 2 masked suspects entered the Dominos establishment at 4436 Rainier Av S and pointed handgun with green laser at employees demanding money. Suspects were able to get $100 and then fled on foot EB through the parking lot. Suspects match description of the Subway armed robbery in Ocean sector. Incident screened with Robbery unit.
