#2024-276729/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0140 hours, three masked suspects entered a Dominos in the crown hill neighborhood and pointed a handgun with green laser at employees demanding money. Suspects were able to get the cash drawer and then fled on foot WB. KCSO assisted with a K9 track, but the suspects were not located. A witness described seeing a possible suspect vehicle flee the scene prior to officer’s arrival. Suspects match description for the Subway armed robbery in Ocean sector, the Dominos robbery in Robert sector, and the 7/11 robbery in Queen sector. Incident screened with the Robbery unit.
#2024-276714/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0119 hrs two suspects robbed a 7-11 in the 300 blk of Denny Way at gunpoint. They got about $800-$100 in cash and fled on foot. It was discovered the suspect description matched that of robberies throughout the city during 3rd Watch. Area check was negative.
#2024-276694/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 0530 hours, officers responded to HMC to investigate an assault that occurred at 515 Madison St. Police learned the male suspect had kicked the female victim causing her to fall from a retaining wall. The victim sustained a severe head injury. The male suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into KCJ for Assault 2. Incident screened with DV.
#2024-276827/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 0500 hours uniformed officers responded to a large fight disturbance in the parking lot next to a gas station (Broadway Av./E. Pike St.) There was a large group of people there that broke up as patrol vehicles were arriving in the area. Call update was that there was also a gunshot heard, and a male subject was now laying on the ground. officers located the down subject and determined that he was not shot. He did however have several scrapes/bruises and bloody nose/lip. The subject advised that he was assaulted by two subjects who stole his GLOCK 9mm, registered to him. During the altercation a round was fired but no one was struck. This now became a robbery investigation. Officers located a subject in Cal Anderson Park matching the suspect description. Subject was detained and identified. The suspect was in possession of two loaded firearms, including the victims GLOCK 9mm taken in the Robbery/Assault incident. The firearms were submitted into evidence along with the suspects cell phone. The Robbery unit was notified, and incident screened for further follow up investigation. Suspect was treated by SFD at the East Pct. then later booked into KCJ. The suspects firearm appeared to have been modified to a fully automatic action with an extended magazine. PIO was advised.
#2024-276870/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 0651 hours, on the listed date and time a female in a wheelchair (victim), her boyfriend (witness), and a third male (suspect) exited a metro coach in the 3800 block of Delridge WY SW. The suspect attempted to take the wheelchair bound victim’s purse but was unable to do so. The suspect then pulled her hair in an attempt to get her to let go of the purse. That also failed. Officers arrived on scene shortly after, located the suspect, and placed him into custody without incident. He was later booked into KCJ. Robbery was notified.
#2024-277141/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1341 hours, 1341, multiple callers reported hearing one to two gunshots in the vicinity of a drug store at BROADWAY / E PINE ST. Responding officers located one 9mm pistol casing and a small amount of blood on outside. On scene investigation found that victim was holding cash and standing at the checkout counter when suspect took the cash and ran from the store. Victim followed and ordered a female acquaintance to retrieve his firearm, presumably from a nearby vehicle. An altercation between the victim and suspect ensued outside of the store, during which the victim was shot in the left hand. The suspect fled westbound on PIKE ST on a Lime scooter. The victim bandaged himself on scene and left in an unknown direction before officers arrived. There were no known witnesses or cameras that observed the altercation outside. The identity and whereabouts of the involved subjects is unknown. GVRU was notified.
#2024-277111/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1252 hours, officers were in the area of Magnuson Park. They saw a male sitting in a vehicle they suspected was stolen. They ran the plate of the vehicle through WACIC/NCIC and discovered the vehicle was in fact an SPD stolen. By the time they discovered that the vehicle was stolen, the suspect had left the vehicle and was walking nearby. They contacted the suspect and attempted to arrest him for possessing a stolen vehicle. The suspect resisted arrest. During the Officer’s struggle with the suspect, a loaded Glock 22 .40 handgun fell from the suspect’s waistband. He was quickly taken into custody. The suspect was found to have multiple felony warrants for his arrest. He was active DOC and he was a convicted felon prohibited from possessing a firearm. The suspect was booked into KCJ.
#2024-277407/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2004 hours, victim was by the Pilipino Community Center at MLK/S Juneau ST when he was approved by two teenage BM’s admiring his scooter. The victim told the suspect that he wasn’t going to give them his scooter and the suspects left. A couple of minutes later the same 2 teenage BM suspects returned and one of the suspects pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim demanding his scooter. Suspects then fled with the scooter into the MLK Way Apartment at 5900 block MLK. Incident was screened with Robbery Unit.
