Detectives are investigating a shooting that left a teenage boy deceased in Seattle’s Central District neighborhood.
Shortly after 7:40 p.m., 911 Dispatch received reports of a shooting at the intersection of 27th Avenue and East Spring Street.
Police arrived and located a juvenile male suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers attempted life-saving measures until Seattle Fire Department arrived. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The circumstances that led up to the shooting are unknown at this time.
Members of the Crime Scene Investigation Unit and Homicide Unit responded to the scene.
Homicide Unit detectives will be working to determine the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
No suspect in custody at this time.
