#2024-319426/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 0557 hours, 0559 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 8100 block of 11 Av SW to investigate shots heard in the area. During an area check, officers discovered a fired 9mm cartridge casing. Additionally, two bullet holes were located on the front window of an occupied residence. Both bullets that entered the home were recovered from the scene. Several callers reported hearing a vehicle speeding away following the gunshots. However, no description of the suspect vehicle was provided. No other video or evidence was discovered.
#2024-318273/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1900 hours: In the average ten hour operational period, less than one DUI arrest is made by SPD. On Saturday, November 9th, the KC Target Zero Team funded a Traffic Safety Blitz – High Visibility Emphasis patrol of eight Seattle Police officers and a SPD officer phlebotomist, focused on impaired driving enforcement citywide. During the ten hour operational period, these officers contacted 44 drivers, made nine DUI arrests and five other arrests, issued 27 citations, recovered psilocybin mushrooms and methamphetamine packaged for distribution, and responded with patrol to multiple Priority 1 calls. No significant injury or fatal collisions occurred in the city during the operational period. The elected Seattle City Attorney, a Washington State Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor, and other representatives from SCAO and the WSP Toxicology Lab came to the briefing and rode along in support of the emphasis. The next Traffic Safety Blitz – High Visibility Emphasis will be the “Night of 1000 Stars” on Friday, December 13th.
#2024-320139/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2318 hours, a BM wearing a mask and gloves walked into the listed location, pointed a firearm at the clerk and stole approximately $240 USD. The BM then returned to a dark colored SUV and fled the scene. Primary Officers arrived and contacted the clerk while backing units conducted an area check. Robbery was notified of the incident. The suspect and vehicle were not located.
#2024-320137/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2314 hours, our victim was walking back to their dorm with headphones on. The suspect approached from behind them, startled them, brandished a firearm, demanded their backpack, discharged the firearm, and fled the area with their backpack. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the victim along with nearby security. An area check was conducted for the suspect, but Officers did not locate them.
#2024-320120/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2239 hours Officers responded to an Assault with a firearm call in the 14300 Blk of Linden Ave N. The victim had been followed by a black jeep into his apartment complex and confronted by the occupants of the vehicle, accusing him of colliding with their vehicle. One of the suspects produced a handgun and shot the victim in the lower right leg. The suspects fled the scene and were not located. The victim was transported to HMC via AMR in stable condition. Suspects were not located. One FCC recovered at the scene.
