2024-337479/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0154 hours, the victim, who is from another country, was out drinking with the suspect, who is also from other country, per the victim. The victim and suspect got into an argument that escalated, and suspect attempted to punch the victim multiple times. Suspect missed hitting the victim but caused significant damage to the victim’s vehicle. Victim told officers he was specifically targeted due to his national origin. Suspect fled as officers arrived and could not be located.
#2024-337895/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1524 hours, Seattle Dispatch received a report of a shooting. The caller/ victim reported that he had just been shot at by a male driving a vehicle. The suspect was last seen driving southbound from the scene, on 31st Avenue Northwest. Officers arrived at the scene and contacted the victim who was not hit by the bullet. The victim told officers he observed the suspect, car prowling, and took a picture of the suspect’s car. The suspect then followed him in the car and shot at him through the suspect’s vehicle, front, passenger side window, striking the victim’s vehicle side door panel. The victim was able to drive away from the suspect and call the police. An area check was completed with negative results. The scene was cleared, a report was completed, and all evidence submitted.
#2024-338095/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1923 hours, the victim who is from another country, was working as a food delivery driver. Victim picked up an order at Northeast 42nd Street / University Way Northeast and was approached by the suspect who asked him if he was from another country. When the victim confirmed his national origin, the suspect punched him in the face and told him he deserved it because he was from that country. Suspect walked away taunting the victim. Victim suffered minor bruising and face pain. Victim returned to his residence in the West Precinct where his report was taken. Outstanding suspect described as W/M, 30-40, 5’10” medium build wearing dark clothing.
#2024-338148/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2043 hours, East patrol responded to the 1800 South Jackson Street for the report of a person shot. Officers contacted the victim, who had one GSW to each arm and possible shrapnel injury to his face. None of the victim’s injuries were life-threatening. This shooting was related to two other shots calls that recently came out in the area. The victim said they were in their vehicle when they were fired upon by another vehicle in a drive by style shooting. This occurred at 16th and Yesler. 1800 S Jackson in the victim’s residence, he fled there after being shot. The suspects and reason for the shooting are unknown to the victim. Officers at 16th and Yesler found bullet damage to a nearby residence but found no shell casings. Witnesses stated a shootout between two vehicles has occurred but offered no description of vehicles or involved subjects. The victim’s car was in the 1800 S Jackson garage. It had bullet damage to the front driver door. No shell casings were in the car, there was no sign that anyone in the vehicle returned fire. Little to no suspect info is known. Patrol processed the scene.
#2024-337703/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1100 hours, CRG and cadre conducted a large-scale narcotics Buy/Bust Operation. The operation focused on Belltown, 12/Jackson, Capitol Hill and Aurora Ave. Two Arrests were made in Belltown, One arrest at 12/Jackson, One on Capitol Hill, and three on Aurora. Six of the seven arrests were booked, and one was investigated and released. Three of the arrestees, also, had Fugitive Warrants. In total, there were seven arrests, three guns recovered, one car impounded to the VPR pending a warrant and 203.8 grams of narcotics seized as evidence.
