#2024-339053/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0019 hours, Officers responded to a stabbing at 12 AV S / S Jackson St. The victim had involved himself in an altercation between two unknown persons and suffered a single stab wound to his abdomen. The victim was transported via Medic One. The suspect(s) were not located.

#2024-339689/South Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1646 hours, an U/M wearing dark clothing and balaclava entered the gas station near the 7500 blk of MLK Jr Wy S. The suspect pointed a black handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the till. The clerk complied and the suspect fled in an unknown direction. There was a significant time delay due to a language barrier and the clerk not initially reporting it as a robbery. Video surveillance of the suspect was collected.

#2024- 339732/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1744 hours, the victim and suspect were waiting in Occidental Park for a nearby shelter to open for the night. The suspect and victim appeared to know one another, but victim appeared in mental health crisis when officers contacted him. The victim was stabbed twice in the head, once in the front and once in the back. Officers arrived and provided aid until SFD arrived. SFD was able to stabilize the victim, and he was transported to HMC via Medic 1 in stable condition. Search for the suspect was negative. Screened with 212 and Homicide.

#2024-339037/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2347 hours, officers were dispatched to a DV disturbance. Officers located the couple, and after the investigation was complete, determined that PC existed for DV Assault. The suspect was holding the couple’s 1-month-old baby and refused to give the child to officers or SFD acknowledging he was doing so to prevent arrest. During the incident, the baby was removed from the suspect’s hands and a struggle afterwards ensued. During the struggle, a taser was deployed with desired effect on the suspect and he was taken into custody. The suspect was transported to HMC for compliant of chest pain before being booked into KCJ. Call was screened with 243.

#2024-339724/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1732 hours, officer’s responded reference found suspicious devices inside a recently vacated apartment unit. Upon arrival, officers confirmed the devices were possible explosive devices. The surrounding apartment units were evacuated, and SPD ABS responded and rendered the located devices safe and seized them for further confirmation testing. Evacuees were returned to their respective units. 213 advised.

#2024-339894/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2122 hours, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery with a 30-minute delay at a business in the Rainier Valley. Officers arrived and contacted the victim. The victim reported that a male suspect entered the business armed with a gun, fired shots inside the business, and then stole cash. Officers located 6 spent casings inside of the business. The victims were not injured. The suspect was not located during an area check. Robbery was notified and the scene was processed by patrol.

#2024-339897/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2217 hours, officers were dispatched to a robbery call inside of an apartment complex in the Rainier Valley. The victim reported that another resident robbed him at gun point. Officers attempted to contact the suspect in his apartment, the suspect refused to come out. HNT arrived and after a lengthy process the suspect exited the apartment and was taken into custody without incident. A fake firearm was recovered. The suspect was booked into KCJ for Robbery and a felony warrant.
