#2024-350608/East Precinct/First Watch:

At 0445 hours, SPD Officers responded to an in-progress auto left. The officers arrived at the scene within seconds and were flagged down by the victim. The victim reported he was a delivery driver and used his personal vehicle to make deliveries. The victim came out of the lobby to find the suspect inside the victim’s vehicle. The victim confronted the suspect from the driver’s side. The suspect put the victim’s vehicle in drive and struck the victim with his vehicle. The victim shot the suspect twice from the driver’s door as the suspect fled the scene with the victim’s vehicle. The victim tracked his vehicle a few blocks away. The officers found the victim’s vehicle and conducted a vehicle stop, and the suspect was detained without further incident. The officers found the suspect was injured from the gunshot. An officer stabilized the suspect until the Seattle Fire Department arrived to transport the suspect to the Harborview Medical Center. The scene was processed by patrol. The weapon was recovered, and the vehicle was impounded for processing.   The suspect’s identity is unknown. The incident was screened with the Homicide, GVRU, and Robbery Unit.  

#2024-350608/East Precinct/First Watch:

At 0132 hours, East Patrol responded to the area of BOREN AV / E FIR ST for the report of a two-vehicle collision with one vehicle rolled over. The driver and passenger of the rolled vehicle were on scene with unknown serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the other vehicle fled the scene. WSP was on scene and said the suspect vehicle had fled from a traffic stop that they conducted further south on Rainier Ave. WSP did not pursue and did not follow but happened upon the crash as they continued north on Rainier Ave while driving routinely. Officers and WSP worked together to determine that the R/O of the suspect vehicle was its driver. A short time later, police learned that a person matching the suspect’s description had walked into Swedish Cherry Hill Hospital with serious injuries. By this time officers had also learned that an occupant of the victim vehicle suffered broken bones from the crash. Officers went to Swedish, confirmed the suspects identity and arrested them for Felony Hit and Run. The suspect remains on guard at Swedish.  

#2024-351306/South Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2133 hours, officers were dispatched to a stabbing call in the Rainier Valley. Officers located the victim and rendered aid until Seattle Fire arrived. The victim reported that he was stabbed one time by an unknown suspect. The victim was transported to HMC in stable condition. The suspect was not located during an area check.  

#2024-351404/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2339 hours, East Patrol responded to the report of a carjacking at 22nd Avenue and South Jackson Street. The victim was parked in his car when he was approached by two suspects who pointed a handgun at him, psychically removed him from his car, and drove off in it. As the suspects sped away, they crashed into a parked car. They continued, fleeing the area in the damaged victim vehicle. At about 0132 hours, South Patrol found the victim vehicle unoccupied at 21st Avenue South and South Grand Street. The car was taken to the VPR. Patrol processed the scenes. I screened the incident, Robbery was notified.
