#2024-356464/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0155 hours, a security guard witnessed the suspect assaulting her significant other and separated them. The suspect then yelled racial slurs at the security guard threatening to assault him. The suspect was arrested and booked into KCJ. All bias notifications were made.
#2024-356465/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0200 hours, numerous callers reported hearing shots spanning a large area of SW Pct. Officers conducted an extensive search and located a male at a bus stop in the 2600 block of SW Barton St who stated that he was the target of the shooting. This male made no attempt to call 911 or flag Officers down to report being shot at. This male stated that he had been standing at the bus shelter when a dark gray Acura drove past him. The vehicle was reportedly occupied by 4 A/M wearing blue. The vehicle made a U-turn, and the victim had a feeling he was about to be shot at, so he began to run north into the shopping complex. The suspect vehicle stopped in the roadway, shot at the victim as he ran, did not hit him and fled the area. Officers processed the scene and recovered the following fired cartridge casings: seven .223, three .357 and two 9mm. One building sustained damage from being struck multiple times by gunfire. No other victims were located at this time. No cameras were located that may have captured the incident. 253 and GVRU were notified.
#2024-356510/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0424 hours, officers responded to the report of a DV related assault/stabbing in the 200 block of Cedar St. The suspect fled the scene after learning that 911 had been called. The victim received minor injuries that were treated at the scene by SFD. Officers located the suspect and placed him under arrest for felony assault. The DV unit was notified.
#2024-356889/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1352 hours, an 82-year-old woman with dementia left a medical appointment on Queen Anne and did not return home. A Silver Alert was activated. An extensive area search was unsuccessful. Approximately four hours later, a community member reported finding the victim in the lobby of a building at the Convention Center. Officers responded there and recovered her, unscathed. The victim was reunited with her husband. CSOs assisted with the area search and provided victim transport.
