#2024-355447/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0309 hours, officers responded to a reported armed carjacking near Kerry Park in Queen Anne. A total of three suspects, two armed with handguns, approached the victims while they were seated on a park bench and demanded everything they had. The suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, and the vehicle they arrived in. The RO/victim was able to track his stolen auto to Everett and with the assistance of Snohomish County deputies, the vehicle was recovered.
#2024-356337/South Precinct/Second Watch:
At 2206hours, CRG observed a possible stolen vehicle without license plates near 6 Ave S/S Michigan St. Officers surveilled the vehicle until it began driving erratically, and additional officers were called in to stop the vehicle. Upon being contacted by the uniformed officers, the vehicle tried to elude but quickly realized there was no safe avenue of escape. A High-Risk Vehicle Stop was conducted and all four occupants detained. A firearm was clearly visible inside the vehicle. The driver was arrested and booked for attempt to elude and other driving violations. One passenger was booked for firearms violations. The two other passengers were I&R’d pending further investigation. The vehicle was impounded to the VPR pending a search warrant.
#2024-356404/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2343 hours, Officers responded to a disturbance on NW Market ST. The victim reported a trespass that turned into a racially motivated attempted assault. The victim was able to dodge the assault preventing injury. The suspect was not located during an area check.
