Seattle police bike officers conducted a surveillance operation and arrested a drug trafficker in the Belltown neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.
Starting at about 1:30 p.m., they witnessed a series of narcotics transactions by the suspected trafficker. They coordinated the arrest and patrol assisted, engaging in a foot chase of the suspect. He was arrested and in possession of a loaded .45 caliber firearm. Police also recovered:
- 27.1g of Meth
- 14.7g of Fentanyl
- 4.3g of Fentanyl
- Blue M30 pills (suspected Fentanyl)
- 1.0g of Crack Cocaine
- 3 digital scales
- $638 cash
The 66-year-old suspect is a convicted felon and prohibited from having a gun. He was booked into King Couty Jail for Unlawful Possession of Narcotics, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Obstructing a Public Officer.
Detectives in the Narcotics Unit are assigned to this case.
