#2025-34846/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0017 hours, two suspects entered a gas station located at the 4100 BLK of SW Admiral Wy. One suspect propped the door open and stood guard while S#2 ran around the counter. S#2 contacted the clerk and demanded money. S#2 punched the clerk and struck him on the side of the head. The clerk squared up against S#2. S#2 reached towards his waistband. The suspects then left the station. The suspects left in a Black or dark gray Hyundai Tucson. The suspects weren’t located. The suspect who punched the clerk appears to be the same suspect in a suspicious incident that occurred at a market located at the 3200 BLK of SW Avalon Wy (25-34836). In the suspicious incident the suspect walked inside the store with a mask and gloves. The suspect had a firearm in his waistband, and the clerk activated the holdup alarm. The suspect saw the clerk hit the button and he fled the scene. Video evidence was recovered, and fingerprints were lifted. The SPD Robbery Unit was advised of the incident.
#2025-35009/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 0702 hours, officers responded to a DV Call in the area of the 900 block of 8 Av. During the investigation, officers developed probable cause to arrest the female suspect for DV Harassment. While officers were attempting to place the suspect into custody, the suspect forcefully shoved an officer with her right hand. After a short struggle, officers were able to place the suspect into custody. The suspect was transported to KCJ for booking by AMR and charged with Assault 3. A report was completed, and the officer was uninjured.
#2025-35235/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 1142 hours, officers responded to multiple calls regarding a male suspect using slurs and lunging at people with a knife in the area of 11 Av/Pine St. Officers arrived on the scene and observed a male suspect lunging at a victim, while holding what appeared to be a knife. Officers gave verbal commands to the suspect and refused to cooperate, while still holding the weapon. Officers were able to bring the suspect under control; he went to the ground and dropped the weapon. The suspect was placed into custody for a Hate Crime and Felony Harassment. The weapon turned out to be scissors, which was tagged into evidence.
#2025-35576/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1733 hours, officers responded to a shooting call in the area of 26 Ave SW and SW Brandon St. Officers arrived and located evidence in a nearby park. No victims were located. No property was damaged other than a tree. The incident was screened with GVRU.
#2025-35849/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2308 hours, West Precinct Patrol Officers responded to assist State Patrol in regard to reported shooting that took place on the Dearborn off-ramp from I5. A description of the suspects was broadcast and an Officer who was in the area at the time observed three males matching the descriptions walking westbound away from the area. An officer one of the suspects as the other two fled. He provided descriptions of the other two suspects, one of which was apprehended shortly thereafter. Two firearms were located hidden in the bushes near where the suspects were detained. Witnesses positively identified the detained suspects, who were then arrested and handed over to WSP. A third suspect was arrested by WSP after he returned to the scene, presumably to reacquire the firearm that he had hidden earlier.
