#2025-56872/South Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0110 hours, officers responded to the area of Rainier Ave S and S Holly St for a just occurred robbery involving a firearm. The suspects pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at the victim and demanded all of his belongings. The suspects were described as a black male, wearing a black jacket and red hoodie. Another black male wearing all black with a black mask, and a black female wearing a headband and mask. All suspects were high school age. The suspect wearing a red hoodie was successfully taken into custody. The other two suspects are outstanding.
#2025-56908/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0209 hours, suspect was transported to Swedish 1st Hill for a blood draw from a previous incident. When officers sat the suspect down, he kicked an officer on his thigh. A new case number was generated. The suspect was booked at KCJ. 213 was notified about the assault.
#2025-56927/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0228 hours, officer responded to the 14200 block of Linden AV N for a report of a person stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located one person in front of the location with a stab wound to their back. SFD arrived and treated the victim who was taken to HMC via AMR with a non-life-threatening injury. Victim would not speak with officers. A witness stated the victim was having a party in their apartment and an altercation began between the victim and one of the party attendees which continued outside. The suspect then stabbed the victim before leaving the scene. Witness advised officers that the victim stated they were assaulted due to being transgender. Area check for the suspect yielded negative results. 213 advised.
#2025-56929/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0226 hours, 3rd Watch West Officers responded to a report of a jumper. Officers found the subject DOA on the roof of an adjacent building. The investigation showed that the subject jumped from his 30th floor apartment. There was nothing suspicious located in the apartment. The ME responded and took custody of the body.
#2025-56909/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0209 hours, a white Acura sedan was seen racing another vehicle southbound on Westlake Av N. When it reached the 2500 blk Westlake Av N, the Acura drove into the oncoming lanes of travel and struck a northbound Ford Explorer, head on. All occupants of both vehicles were transported to HMC with varying injuries. A DRE responded to the hospital and evaluated both drivers. The driver of the errant vehicle was determined to be impaired. A warrant was executed, and it is expected the suspect driver will be booked for Investigation of Vehicular Assault once they are evaluated by medical personnel. TCIS detectives responded and processed the scene.
#2025-56874/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0112 hours, officers responded to a shots fired incident in the 800 block of 4 AV N. A scene was located with multiple FCCs and damage to two parked and unoccupied vehicles. Officers conducted an area check and located two victims a block west of the response location. The victims stated they had been assaulted, had their cellphones taken and that at least one of the two suspects brandished a firearm. Injuries to the victims were minor and they declined aid. They also stated the suspects fired rounds into the pavement prior to fleeing in a vehicle. Robbery and 213 notified.
#2025-56980/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 0543 hours, 0545 hours, Officers responded to a Trespass Call at 1705 Belmont Avenue. While responding to the scene, officers received additional information that one of the suspects was armed with a handgun, and the firearm was resting on the suspect’s lap. Officers arrived at the scene, discussed a plan of action, and established roles for each Officer. Officers approached the basement and observed a suspect armed with a handgun on his left side waistband without a holster. Officers gave the suspect verbal commands and then safely removed the firearm from the suspect. The suspect was placed into custody and booked into King County Jail for Dangerous Weapons. During the search incident to arrest, the Officer recovered 22x.556 rifle rounds, a fixed knife, 3x rifle magazines, and the firearm that the officers recovered from the suspect.
#2025-57208/North Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1230 hours, expected demonstration took place that began at the Ballard Locks. At the beginning of the march, the crowd was estimated at approximately 350 people and included a group of musicians, a vehicle brigade and a bicycle brigade. 222 initiated a partial task force to monitor as there were large amounts of uninvolved pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the area at the beginning of the demonstration route. The group then turned into a nearby residential neighborhood and grew to an estimated 700 people at its peak. SPD was in regular contact with the group’s police liaisons and there were no major issues during the event. Eventually the group marched to Ballard Commons and held a rally. All streets were open at that point and officers cleared. No counter protestors were observed, and the group was cooperative.
#2025-57191/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1158 hours, officers were conducting a foot beat along 3 AV in the Pike/Pine corridor. While one of the officers were walking, an unknown male approached them. The suspect spat on the ground (almost hitting the officer) and intentionally bumped into an officer. The suspect was taken into custody soon after the incident. The officer was not injured, and the suspect was booked into KCJ for assault. 212 was notified and a Hazard Report was completed.
#2025-56947/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0310 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of people in a physical fight. Initial officers arrived and broke up the initial disturbance as another altercation began on another corner. As officers were addressing the second fight, one of the participants assaulted an officer. Officers attempted to place the suspect into custody, and he began to run. He was brought to the ground and continued to be combative. A taser was deployed, striking the suspect in the stomach. During the struggle, he assaulted another officer on the ground, bruising the officer’s arm. He was taken into custody without additional use of force. After he was detained, the large group of subjects on the corner that was with the suspect became agitated and aggressive towards officers. Officers did not have PC for additional arrests and left the area. UoF, SIR, Hazard were all completed. 231 was notified of the assault on officers.
