#2025-59618/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0107 hours, multiple victims called 911 to report a male brandishing a firearm at them near 3rd Avenue and Pike Street. A specific suspect description was provided, and officers located a matching suspect nearby. Upon contact, the suspect dropped a loaded pistol, with a 30-round magazine, behind a streetlamp post. Officers took the suspect into custody without issue using an additional loaded 17-round magazine and a loaded 10-round magazine were recovered. Multiple victims came forward and PC was developed for two counts of Robbery 1, and three counts of Felony Harassment. Suspect booked into KCJ.
#2025-60038/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1530 hours, a suspect and victim were involved in an altercation inside an apartment building due to a conflict with apartment management. During the incident, both individuals claimed the other struck them first, resulting in the suspect punching the victim. While doing so, the suspect had an unknown object in his fist that caused a 5-inch laceration to the victim’s face, and a second laceration to his left hand. The victim was transported to HMC and the suspect to KCJ with no further incident.
#2025-60427/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1957 hours, the victim was inside his house in the 7000 block of 12 Ave Southwest. The victim stated that he heard gunshots near his house. The victim secured his firearm and called out to the suspect to find out why the suspect was shooting a gun in the area. The suspect told the victim that he was trying out his gun. The victim told the suspect not to fire rounds in the neighborhood. The victim stated that the suspect fired multiple rounds towards him. The victim stated that he fired back. The suspect left the area on foot. Guardian 1 and SPD K9 responded, but there was a time delay. At this time no one was hit by the rounds. Evidence was recovered.
#2025-60548/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2307 hours, an adult male self-transported himself to HMC to be treated for a GSW to his left leg. Officers and GVRU Detectives attempted to interview the male, but he refused to provide any details about the incident. Officers determined this was not related to the recent SW Precinct shooting incident (#60427). The GSW was possibly self-inflicted / accidental.
