#2025-60682/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0453 hours, officers were dispatched to the report of a DV assault/no contact order violation in the 200 block of 5th Avenue North. The R/P (a security guard) had also been assaulted by the suspect after attempting to intervene and assist the victim. Officers arrived and contacted the suspect, who was in possession of an orange flare gun. The suspect fled the scene and refused to comply with multiple commands to stop. A taser was deployed after the suspect pointed the flare gun at one of the responding officers. The suspect was taken into custody for two counts of felony assault. The suspect was transported to HMC after being declined at KCJ for an unrelated issue. The suspect will be booked into KCJ after HMC’s evaluation is complete.

#2025-61173/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1513 hours, officers responded to location for a report of an assault. Officers located the suspect inside of a restroom. Probable cause was established for an arrest. The suspect was taken into custody reference assault 4. During the interview the suspect assaulted the officer. A spit sock was applied. The suspect was transported to KCJ via AMR. The suspect was booked into KCJ for Assault 3. No officer injuries were reported.

#2025-61371/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1853 hours, officers were dispatched to a call of a suspect trespassing on the roof of a local business. When officers contacted the suspect, he fled on foot. When officers caught up to him, a struggle ensued. During the altercation the suspect assaulted an officer. The suspect was taken into custody. An officer was injured during the foot pursuit and transported to HMC for treatment. The suspect was declined at KCJ and was transported to Northwest Hospital. Once medically cleared, the suspect will be booked.  

#2025-61533/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2251 hours, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 170 block of 12th Avenue. Victim was in his apartment when he opened the door after someone knocked. Upon opening the door, two suspects pushed into the apartment and pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded his stuff. Suspects stole the victim’s wallet, car keys and some other small items from the apartment, before leaving. The victim was not injured during the incident. 244 was notified and email sent to Robbery Unit.
