#2025-72248/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0004 hours, the suspect was at the QFC located at the 4500 BLK of 42 Ave SW. The suspect was blocking the alcove. Security advised the suspect that he couldn’t block the alcove. The suspect got angry and pointed a firearm at the victim’s chest and made a threat. The victim grabbed the firearm from the suspect, and it was later determined to be a BB gun. The suspect left on foot. Officers contacted the suspect at the 3500 BLK of SW Alaska St. The suspect was placed in custody and booked at KCJ. The BB gun was recovered and placed in evidence.
#2025-72513/Southwest Precinct/First Watch:
At 0547 hours, while an officer was on proactive patrol in the 9000 block 35 Av SW, he observed an occupied stolen vehicle involved in an armed carjacking from 3 days prior. The officer requested backing units and formulated a plan to prevent the suspect vehicle from fleeing the scene. Terminators were placed and pinning of the vehicle occurred prior to the suspects waking inside the vehicle. Once the suspects woke, the officers were able to direct the occupants out of the vehicle without incident. While clearing the vehicle a firearm was observed near the drives seat of the vehicle. Three suspects were detaining and transported to HQ, the vehicle was transported to the VPR pending search warrant. Of the three suspects, one was booked into KCJ for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, one was booked into KCJ for Violation of DV NCO, the third suspect was released from HQ. 251 and media were notified of the incident.
#2025-72798/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 1045 hours, during about a 30-minute time span a B/M committed 3 separate robberies in the U-District. There was a time delay in the reporting of 2 of the robberies. No weapons were seen or implied. Suspect apparently just helped himself to secured/employee areas and demanded money. Suspect took a small amount of money at one store and ended up leaving it at another. Area check was negative. Links for video provided. Suspect described to be very “bold” in his actions.
#2025-72934/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1327 hours, officers responded to a bank robbery in Charlie sector. The suspect entered the bank and handed the bank teller a note demanding money and that she had a gun. No firearm was seen. The suspect was able to obtain 2,000 dollars and left the bank eastbound. Officers conducted an area check with negative results. The bank was not able to provide surveillance footage immediately and will be sending the footage to officers as soon as possible. Robbery unit notified.
#2025-73029/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1446 hours, officers responded to a 911 call about a disturbance involving a naked female yelling at hospital staff. The caller was security for the location, and they currently had the suspect pinned to the ground. As the first officer arrived, he attempted to place the suspect into handcuffs and was spat on by the suspect. P.C. was developed for assault on officer, and she was arrested and booked into KCJ. Charges were requested for assault 4 on the security guard. Assault on officer was screened with LT.
#2025-73413/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2312 hours, 2312 hours, calls were made to 911 regarding shots fired in the 2900 Sw Brandon St. Officers arrived and recovered six 9mm shell casings. There were no victims and no property damage, nor any surveillance footage. The shell casings were recovered and placed into evidence. GVRU screened this incident.
