#2025-81530/East Precinct/First Watch:
At 1040 hours, Officers responded to 15th Ave & E Harrison St for a report of Property Destruction. SFD reported that a male suspect in crisis was throwing rocks at their Fire trucks and other equipment. Patrol Officers arrived shortly after, contacted SFD, observed damaged and developed PC for Property Destruction. Officers located the suspect nearby and took suspect into custody without further incident. Patrol Officers discovered the arrestee had been linked to numerous incidents targeting SFD. This incident was screened with 1C, Car24, and GIU.
#2025-81940/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1630 hours, a planned protest rally was scheduled at Westlake Park. A group of roughly 40 individuals gave speeches before proceeding to march on the street from Westlake Park to Pike Place Market. POET1 was on-scene to facilitate dialogue and assistance in determining the march route. West Precinct patrol units coordinated a traffic contingency plan to assist in stopping vehicular traffic for the marching route. Pike Place Security requested SPD prevent traffic into the market as the group stopped to give a brief speech. The group then marched from Pike Place Market back to Westlake Park without incident. 212 was on scene.
