#2025-086465/West Precinct/First Watch:
At 0850 hours, officers responded to a disturbance/trespass at a residence. The primary officer was conducting the investigation in the entryway of the residence, when an unsecured canine became overly excited and started to bite the officer on the back of the legs. The officer returned to the precinct and discovered one of the canine bites broke skin. The officer received medical treatment at the local hospital.
#2025-086816/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1527 hours officers responded to a call for service in the area of 13 Ave and Yesler Way to investigate a possible custodial interference incident. The reporting party who is the guardian of two children stated that the suspect did not have custody of her children due to threatening them in the past, had taken the children from daycare and left the area. Officers arrived on scene and began to search both for the suspect and the children. Officers conducted numerous interviews with neighbors and friends as well as searching the suspects residence. One of the neighbors believed that the suspect may have gone to Bellevue with a friend. Bellevue PD was contacted to assist with an area check as well as SPD officers searched Bellevue. SPD Officers did an outstanding job, locating the suspect and children in a park in Bellevue unharmed. The suspect was placed in custody without incident and booked into KCJ. The children were transported by CSOs back to the guardian. The DV unit will be conducting the follow-up on this investigation.
#2025-087035/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 1956 hours, officers on-viewed an occupied vehicle that was parked on the curb and sticking out into the roadway. Officers contacted the occupant and explained the reason for the contact. The suspect was told a report to document the stop would be written and offered the suspect a business card. When going to hand the suspect said business card, the suspect assaulted the officer. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident and booked into KCJ for Inv. Assault 3. The officer was not injured.
#2025-087166/North Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2337 hours, witness stated that he heard two males arguing in the parking lot located at the 4000 BLK of 26 Ave SW. The witness heard a female attempting to calm the subjects down. The witness stated that he heard one shot, and he looked and saw three subjects enter a vehicle and leave the scene. Evidence was recovered from the scene. A GSW victim arrived at HMC not long after the shooting, and an officers went to the hospital. GVRU and 253 were notified about the incident.
