#2025-95267/South Precinct/First Watch:
At 0516 hours, Officers responded to shots heard in the area of 7000 Rainier Av S. Upon arrival, Officers located multiple casings in the street. Officers were unable to locate any property damage or victims. No suspect description nor vehicle description was provided by the few callers that had called in.
#2025-95228/North Precinct/First Watch:
At 0515 hours, Officers responded to a local hospital in Ballard for a trespassing call where a female patient was refusing to leave after discharge. As the officers escorted the female outside, she pushed an officer’s face with an open palm. The officer sustained no injury, and the female was taken into custody without further incident. She was arrested for Assault 3 and booked. 211 notified, hazard report completed.
#2025-95214/East Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0210 hours, East officers were on proactive patrol in the Pike/Pine area when they saw an SUV with no plates or headlights being driven. When they reacquired it, the vehicle attempted to park, and three occupants got out. While contacting them, officers attempted to detain the driver, who resisted and elbowed an officer. He was taken into custody, and a passenger who had made clearly furtive movements was detained and found in possession of Fentanyl. Driver arrested for A3, processed for DUI. Passenger arrested for VUCSA. No officers injured, 243 notified.
#2025-95955/East Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1816 hours, Officers were responding to a trespass at a shelter in the 400 Block of Terry Ave near the hospital. Officers made contact with the suspect who was uncooperative. The suspect suddenly lunged towards a bed that was next to them and retrieved an unknown object from under the mattress. Officers believed the object to be a weapon asked for additional units. As units were enroute the suspect suddenly produced the unknown item, and it was a cell phone. Officers then took control of the suspect. While taking control of the suspect one officer was bitten on the leg causing pain. The Officer did not require medical treatment. Suspect was arrested for assault 3. Hazard report completed.
#2025-96152/West Precinct/Third Watch:
At 2329 hours, a suspect entered a convenience store in the 400 block of W Mercer St, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the register; the clerk complied. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his thirties with a black face covering. An area check was unsuccessful in locating the suspect.
