#2025-98201/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:
At 0127 hours, Officers responded to a report of subject with a gun outside of a tavern. Subject pointed gun at another subject, many subjects inside and doors locked. Subject walked away prior to Officers arrival. Officers established PC and contacted two subjects nearby, negative. Officers located an unspent 9mm bullet on scene that came from subject’s handgun when he chambered a round. Photo of suspect obtained. Victim and suspect indirectly connected from a family member relationship in the past. Officers working on gathering additional suspect information for follow up.
#2025-97949/West Precinct/Second Watch:
At 1940 hours, Officers responded to a 911 emergency call for service in Queen sector to investigate a domestic violence assault. Upon arrival, officers on scene followed investigative procedures and determined probable cause existed for assault. The intoxicated suspect during the arrest resisted, kicked one of the officers, and spat at another. The suspect was arrested with de minimis force and transported to KCJ via AMR without incident. During the search incident to arrest, a pocketknife was recovered from the suspect and later into evidence. No officers were injured, a hazard report was completed, and 213 was notified.
