Seattle Police are investigating a stabbing that injured a man Monday afternoon in the Rainier Valley neighborhood.
Officers responded to the 8300 block of Rainier Avenue South around 2:35 p.m. and found a 43-year-old man with non-life-threatening stab wounds to the neck, forearm and elbow. Police provided medical aid until Seattle Fire Department medics arrived and transported the man to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
A witness told police the victim and suspect got into an altercation shortly before the stabbing. The suspect fled the scene after the incident and no arrests have been made.
Detectives with the Homicide/Assault Unit are investigating the incident to determine the events leading up to the stabbing.
