#2025-102138/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 0314 hours, officers responded to a vehicle that was on fire in the middle of the street located in the 2700 block of Southwest Othello Street. SFD responded and the vehicle was burned badly. Officers eventually were able to locate a VIN, and the vehicle was an SPD stolen. The vehicle was used in a shooting in King County’s jurisdiction. A KCSO Detective was notified, and the vehicle was towed to their location. ABS was notified about the incident. FM5 was notified.

#2025-102333/West Precinct/First Watch:

At 0952 hours, SPD West Bikes officers were conducting proactive enforcement in the West Precinct area when they saw a suspect with a VUCSA warrant for his arrest. The officers contacted the suspect and took him into custody without any issues. Search incident to arrest, the suspect had 3.7 grams of crack, 2.8 grams of suspected fentanyl, and $284.00. Subsequently, the suspect was booked into KCJ. The drug and money were seized as evidence.

#2025-100559/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1450 hours, Officers responded to a call for service to investigate a burglary. Upon arrival officers identified the suspect and found probable cause for burglary. The suspect also had multiple warrants and threats to law enforcement cautions. Officers located the suspect in the 500 BLK of E Pine and informed him he was under arrest. The suspect began resisting arrest and fighting with officers. Type 2 force was used, and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident. No officers were injured during the arrest. 242 was on scene.

#2025-100618/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1433 hours officers responded to a call for service for an assault that occurred in Edward sector. Officers responded to the scene and found probable cause to arrest the suspect for assault. Officers observed the suspect walking by the business and went to effect the arrest. The suspect resisted arrest and began fighting with officers. Type 2 force was used and a help the officer went out citywide. Officers were able to get the suspect in custody and he was booked into KCJ for investigation of assault 3. No officers were injured during the incident. 242 on scene.

#2025-102788/East Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1711 hours, Officers responded to assist Seattle Fire with traffic control for a structure fire. The fire occurred in the 800 block of Jefferson St. The location is across the street from the ambulance ramp for HMC. There was a significant response from SFD including 3 ladder trucks and upwards of 8 additional fire engines. Joint command with SFD was initiated. Officers performed traffic control and pedestrian control around the hospital for the duration of the call. Ambulance traffic was affected for a period of time during the traffic disruption. One arrest was made for a person trying to force their way into the active fire scene (25-102862). Unit 242 was in command at the scene.

#2025-103054/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2154 hours, multiple calls were made to 911 about a large amount of gunfire in the 3100 block of Sw Myrtle St. Two vehicles were said to have sped off in different directions from that location. Upon arrival officers located 60+ shell casings, bullet fragments. More than an hour later, a local resident reported having been shot at in the area, and several bullet holes were located in his vehicle. He did not wish to report anything further. There was no surveillance footage available. GVRU was notified.

#2025-102997/West Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2039 hours, Officers responded to a disturbance at an apartment building where a tenant was threatening to kill her neighbor. During the investigation officers determined the incident met the standards for a bias crime based on the suspect’s statements about the victim’s national origin. The suspect was identified but not located.
