#2025-112987/West Precinct/Third Watch/K2:
At 0215 hours, West Precinct Officers were dispatched to the 200 BLK of 1 AV S to investigate a reported hit and run to a Scooter Rider. When Officers arrived they observed a male lying in the northbound lanes of 1 AV S and began rendering aid. Witnesses reported the at the Scooter Rider was traveling southbound the wrong way down 1 AV S when he was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound. The vehicle fled the scene, leaving the Scooter Rider critically injured. SFD arrived on scene, took over aid responsibilities, and subsequently transported the victim to HMC for further care. TCIS screened the incident.
#2025-113192/Southwest Precinct/First Watch/W1:
At 0850 hours, Seattle police responded to a property damage call in the 5000 BLK of SW Spokane St where an unknown suspect spray painted the building and signs on the property with bias language. The staff had spray painted over the bias language prior to police arrival. The staff took photographs of the property damage before spray painting over it and provided the officer with the photographs. There are no security cameras at this location, so the incident was not captured on camera. No suspect information at the time of this incident.
#2025-113890/North Precinct/Third Watch/N3:
At 2200 hours, a 69-year-old male was driving a 2006 Lexus sedan. The male driver had been westbound on N 96th St and was making a left turn southbound onto Aurora Ave N. At the same time a 38-year-old male pedestrian was crossing east to west across Aurora Ave N in a wheelchair when he was struck by the driver. The pedestrian suffered injuries and was transported via Seattle Fire Department Medics to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. The pedestrian was crossing in an area not designated for pedestrian crossings. The driver showed signs of impairment. A DRE Officer responded to the scene. The DRE Officer applied for and was granted a search warrant for a sample of the driver’s blood for toxicological testing. TCIS responded and processed the scene.
