2025-117366/West Precinct/First Watch/M1:
At 1000 hours, West Precinct bike officers were proactively conducting narcotics in the West Precinct area. A short time later, the officers developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for the Uniform Controlled Substance Act (VUCSA), and the suspect was arrested without any issues. The officers ran the suspect’s name, and he returned a warrant out of state. Money and narcotics were seized as evidence. Subsequently, the suspect was booked into KCJ for VUCSA and Fugitive Warrant (2025-117441).
2025-117529/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch/F1:
At 1236 hours, officers were dispatched to the area of the SW PCT to investigate a theft of a purse. They were not able to locate the victim/suspect. Shortly after Officers located a suspect in the locked/closed fenced in portion of the SW PCT. Due to recent events at the SW PCT officers responded quickly and escorted her off the property without incident. Further investigation showed the suspect climbed the fence at the SW PCT to gain entry. It turns out the female suspect was the victim of the purse theft and wanted to speak with officers. Officers explained to the suspect that she could be arrested for trespassing and showed her the signage on the fence to educate her. It appears the suspect/victim suffers from mental illness and was intoxicated. A report was written.
2025-118001/East Precinct/Third Watch/G1:
At 2148 hours, a dispatcher broadcasted a walk-in GSW to HMC. Officers arrived and spoke to the victim who stated that he was at an unknown Bar/club in the central district when he was approached by an unknown male that pulled a gun on him. As the victim “swatted” the gun away from his chest, the gun discharged, striking him one in the groin area. As he retreated, the suspect fired two additional rounds, striking him in the leg and foot. The victim stated he got into his “friend’s” rental vehicle and drove himself to HMC. The victim provided very vague information beyond this general description of events.
