#2025-120146/West Precinct/First Watch/D1:

At 0425 hours, Officers responded to 200 block of Wall Street regarding an in-progress burglary. The caller was watching via camera. Upon arrival officers made contact with the suspect who was taken into custody without incident. Approximately $15,000 worth of marijuana products were recovered.

#2025-120241/South Precinct/First Watch/O2:

At 0743 hours, a Jeep was stopped at the intersection of 4 AV S/S Spokane St. After making a stop at the intersection, the Jeep made a permitted right turn on a red signal towards S Spokane St. At the same time a pedestrian abruptly crossed the south crosswalk, going westbound. The Jeep struck the pedestrian and continued eastbound on S Spokane St. Pedestrian pronounced deceased on scene. TCIS responded and will handle follow up.

#2025-120820/North Precinct/Second Watch/U2:

At 1710 hours, subject intentionally mixed two chemicals known to cause a hypergolic reaction inside a Fraternity House. SFD responded to the call and a Firefighter had to be treated at HMC for inhalation of toxic fumes from this hypergolic reaction. The Subject was taken into custody and later booked into KCJ. An Environmental Services company responded to dispose of the remaining un-consumed chemicals. ABS will conduct the follow-up.

#2025-120879/North Precinct/Second Watch/U2:

At 1810 hours, UWPD requested and was given approval for mutual aid resources to assist with a demonstration on campus. 30+ individuals had attempted to occupy a new engineering building on campus. The subjects caused significant damage to the interior of the brand-new building. SPD supported UWPD and WSP by providing perimeter security and prisoner processing services. After several hours, the mutual operation successfully cleared out the building with no officer or demonstrator injured. Car 89 responded.
