#2025-124927/West Precinct/Second Watch/Q3:
At 1223 hours, West precinct officers responded to threats with a knife at a shelter in Queen Anne. Upon arrival, Officers determined that a stabbing had occurred prior to the suspect’s departure. The incident escalated when the suspect stabbed the employee with a steak knife. The victim sustained a puncture wound to the right forearm accompanied by several small abrasions and lacerations. Officers located the suspect in the area and arrested him.
#2025-125240/South Precinct/Second Watch/S3:
At 1702 hours, a black Tahoe and a black Nissan Altima were southbound on Rainier Av S in the 9200 block when the occupants of these vehicles began shooting at each other. This prompted an individual in the Safeway parking lot, 9262 Rainier Av S, to begin shooting at both of the involved vehicles. A nearby vehicle and a nearby residence were struck by gunfire. Despite the presence of hundreds of bystanders, no witnesses were willing to come forward with useful information. Officers found shell casings and processed three scenes in approximately 45 minutes. The involved parties were never located.
#2025-125299/West Precinct/Third Watch/M3:
At 1812 hours, a known subject delivered a bag to a local law firm that had represented an opposing party in a lawsuit several years before. The contents of the bag and the note on the exterior were suspicious and the attorney it was addressed to called 911 to report the incident. SPD secured the scene while SFD Hazardous Materials units responded and determined the contents were not hazardous. Incident screened with ABS, 223, PIO, and Duty Captain.
