#2025-137081/South Precinct/Second Watch/S1:

At 1301 hours, Officers were conducting a traffic stop, MLK Jr Wy S/Boeing access Rd, with two subjects in the vehicle and the driver identified the front passenger by his nickname. Officers were primary on the previous day’s Assault 1/shots fired incident. 25-135913, at 9100 MLK JY WY S and were later able to identify the suspect from the video footage. The passenger was directed out of the vehicle and then he made efforts to run. Officers eventually placed the subject in custody. SFD responded to the scene and evaluated the subject. Vehicle impounded, search warrant applied, and handgun recovered from vehicle. GVRU notified and updated. Subject transported to KCJ. 232 on scene.

#2025-137266/North Precinct/Second Watch/U1:

At 1618 hours, the preceding events & circumstances remaining in dispute by the parties involved, the suspect stabbed the victim in their neck, in an acquaintance’s apartment. North patrol officers, CRT6, and K98 responded. The suspect was positively identified and the victim transported to HMC. Patrol processed the crime scene and conducted, and area check through the University District. Suspect photos were obtained and emailed out, including to the UWPD. Just over an hour and a-half later a UWPD unit spotted the suspect and kept him in sight while SPD units responded and took the suspect into custody. Screened with Homicide. PIO notified.

#2025-137118/East Precinct/Second Watch/G2:

At 1630 hours, officers responded to a call for service in G-2 to investigate a domestic violence (DV) assault. Officers interviewed the victim finding probable cause for DV felony harassment with the suspect in a nearby apartment. Officers knocked on the residence, finding that the suspect was inside but refusing to come out. HNT was called to the scene to continue negotiations with the suspect while a warrant was completed. Once the warrant was signed, the suspect continued to refuse to leave his residence. Officers breached the door and moved to a safe location to give the suspect another opportunity to exit. With the door breached, the suspect then complied with officers’ commands, exiting his residence and was taken into custody. Suspect was booked into KCJ. 242 was on scene for this incident.
