#2025-137667/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/W1:
At 0250 hours, the victim stated that he was outside looking for his dog at the 3000 BLK of SW Spokane St, and he was stabbed in the neck by an unknown person. The victim stated that the suspect left in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to HMC by AMR with non-life-threatening injuries. Containment was set up and a KCSO K9 deputy deployed his dog with negative results. It was later determined that the victim had a girlfriend roaming around the area. The girlfriend was located, and she gave a different story to the victim. It is unknown who committed the assault. Guardian 1 was not in service. Homicide & Assault Unit was notified.
#2025-138257/North Precinct/Second Watch/U3:
At 1437 hours, North patrol and CRT6 responded to a reported DV assault in-progress, with one party believed to have access to a firearm and a machete, being reported by children of the victim. Officers determined that during a previously unreported assault the night before, during an argument the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife in the victim’s arm as the victim used the arm to block the attack. This morning the suspect and victim began arguing again. The suspect (significantly larger than the victim) began assaulting the victim again, pinning the victim to the floor. The victim grabbed a nearby knife and stabbed the suspect. Investigating officers determined the second stabbing to be an act of self-defense. Scene processed by patrol, suspect and victim taken to different hospitals as a precaution, suspect under guard pending booking. CSO30 and CSO32 responded to assist with the children while victim being treated at hospital.
#2025-138595/North Precinct/Third Watch/N3:
At 2043 hours caller reported a stabbing victim in the 9000 block of Aurora Ave N. The victim sustained multiple non-life-threatening injuries to the face and left arm. The suspect fled southbound on Nesbit Ave N. Despite extensive area checks the suspect was not located. The victim was transported via AMR to HMC. 213 Notified.
#2025-138672/West Precinct/Third Watch/D1:
At 2242 hours, patrol officers in the area of 3 AV / Blanchard St developed probable cause for VUCSA PWI. Upon contacting the suspect, a short foot pursuit ensued, and the suspect was taken into custody. A firearm was recovered from his person. Search incident to arrest, officers located powdered Fentanyl, Xylazine, LSD, and various other narcotics. He was arrested for VUCSA, UPFA and a felony PSV warrant. He was declined at KCJ and will eventually be booked.
