
Seattle police officers are investigating a shooting in the Chinatown-International District last night.
On May 27, at about 11:00 p.m., patrol officers responded to a shooting near 12th Avenue South and South King Street. They located a 42-year-old man suffering from two gunshot wounds. The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) arrived and provided medical aid to the victim. SFD transported him to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
The suspect fled the area before police arrived and they did not locate him. Officers processed the scene and collected evidence. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
