#2025-154644/West Precinct/Third Watch/D2:
At 0233 hours, West Precinct Patrol Officers were dispatched to investigate a reported burglary located in the 1700 BLK of Dexter AV N. Offsite security had viewed a suspect who did not appear to belong there in the mailroom of the building. Officers arrived and set up a short containment. An update showed that the suspect had relocated to the parking garage. Once Officers were able to gain access to the building a team relocated inside while another team remained outside at the stairwell the suspect was likely to exit. Inside of the parking garage Officers encountered the suspect who then fled. The suspect attempted to flee out of the stairwell exit that the exterior team was positioned on. The suspect was unsuccessful in his flight and was taken into custody. Officers located a storage unit that had recently been broken into, as well as stolen property littering the path the suspect took as he fled. Burglary tools were recovered in addition to multiple articles of stolen property.

At 0439 hours, Ofcs responded to a report of an armed carjacking in the area of N 96th St and Aurora Ave N. The victim had walked several blocks away before finding someone with a phone to call 911. The victim stated two unk males broke his vehicle window out, one armed with a handgun, while demanding his car keys and money. The suspects then fled Southbound in the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was not located at this time. Sgt of Robbery was notified.
#2025-155661/North Precinct/Third Watch/J3:
At 2006 hours, CRG officers were conducting an anti-violent crime operation on Aurora AV N when they located a suspicious truck in the Everspring Hotel garage. While awaiting additional units, the suspect rammed the CRG vehicle repeatedly before fleeing. After a brief pursuit, during which the suspect vehicle rammed a North Patrol vehicle and damaged civilian vehicles, the truck was disabled, and the suspect was arrested. The suspect will be booked for five counts of assault, eluding, PSV, and malicious mischief. A DUI blood-draw warrant is in progress.
