#2025-176918/North Precinct/Third Watch/N2:

At 0228 hours, officers multiple 911 calls were made reporting shots being fired in the area of 8800 block of Nesbit Av N. Upon arrival officers located evidence in the parking lot of the Oak Tree Motel. Unknown suspects fled in vehicles from the Oak Tree parking lot driving through a metal entry gate prior to police arrival. No witnesses to shooting. No known injuries. Officers processed scene.     

#2025-177500/East Precinct/Second Watch/E3:

At 1419 hours, officers responded to a call for service in the area of Hubbell PL and University St for a suspect wearing a tuxedo firing a handgun. The suspect was last seen on a lime scooter traveling southbound on 8th Ave. Officers located evidence at the intersection. It is unknown what the suspect was shooting at. An area check led to negative results. GVRU notified.  

#2025-177241/West Precinct/Second Watch/K1:

At 1300 hours, officers responded to the public library regarding a subject who was threatening security and refusing to leave. Officers arrived and developed probable cause for harassment and trespassing. While moving the suspect from the ground to the patrol vehicle he assaulted an officer. The suspect assaulted two additional officers while being placed on a gurney for transport. Suspect was declined at KCJ and transported to HMC until he is released back to KCJ.  

#2025-177993/West Precinct/Third Watch/D2:

At 2259 hours, a suspect walked up to the West Precinct and smashed the front window with a hammer. The officers inside the precinct thought it was a gunshot. The officers contacted the suspect outside the precinct and detained him. Upon further investigation, the suspect was upset because his employer reduced his working hours and was upset that he would be evicted. The suspect wanted to speak to his lawyer but could not get hold of his public defender. The suspect thought it would be a good idea to talk to a lawyer by attempting to break into a precinct. Officers inspected the glass at the precinct and found that it was protected glass with a visible hammer strike. Damage assessment was approximately $1000.00. Subsequently, the suspect was booked into KCJ.
