#2025-176061/West Precinct/Second Watch/D1:

At 1047 hours, officers were dispatched to a housing complex for a resident who had been feloniously assaulted. Officer arrived on scene and were able to locate the victim who described being inside his apartment unit when another resident had barged in, threatened him, and then proceeded to use a rope-like cord to strangle him. The victim was able to fight the suspect off and then contact staff who called police. The victim had a previous injury on his neck which was reopened during the incident, causing the victim to bleed. Staff had initially mistaken his neck bleeding for a stab wound. No edged weapon or stabbing occurred during this incident.  Officers set up containment on the exterior and interior. HNT was on scene and provided security measures and intensive efforts of negotiations for compliance from the suspect. Suspect ultimately stayed in his room until a search warrant was granted and officers successfully breached the door and hailed him out of the room. He was placed into custody without further incident and booked into KCJ for Investigation of Burglary, Felony Harassment, and Assault 2-strangulation. Evidence was recovered.    

#2025-176386/West Precinct/Second Watch/D2:

At 1510 hours, officers were called to a nude male acting erratically. They arrived and attempted to start a dialogue with the suspect. Officers were able to get the suspect to come over to them. During this interaction the suspect said, “I have to kill you now”. After saying this, he attacked the Officers. Officers were able to secure the suspect after a struggle. A subsequent investigation determined the suspect had dislocated a security guard’s thumb. He also grabbed a female’s arm who was walking nearby. He was placed under arrest. Two Officers were injured in this incident.  

#2025-176829/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/W1:

At 2351 hours, A reporting party called 911 as they were travelling westbound on the West Seattle Bridge. The reported that the was hanging out of a moving vehicle travelling eastbound shooting a firearm into the air. Officers responded to the specified area and located casings. No victims of injury or property damage were located, and the scene was processed by patrol. Limited suspect description was provided but no suspects were located at the time of this SIR. GVRU was notified.

#2025-176601/East Precinct/Third Watch/E1:

At 2025 hours, officers developed Probable Cause for felony harassment. HNT Responded and patrol served the warrant. Suspect was taken into custody and booked into KCJ. No use of force.
