At 1754 hours, the victim called 911 to report she was cut by a male with a knife. Radio dispatched the suspect was last seen driving west bound away from the location. Officers arrived and located the female with a laceration to her left arm. Seattle Fire arrived and rendered aid; the victim did not need to go to the hospital. The victim told Officers she met the suspect three weeks ago but did not know his name. An area check for the subject was negative.
#2025-175265/North Precinct/Second Watch/N2:
At 1751 hours, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at a storage facility in Nora sector. The suspect entered the lobby, pointed a gun at the employee and demanded cash. After receiving the money, the suspect fled the location on foot. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate the suspect. Robbery Unit notified.
#2025-175443/East Precinct/Third Watch/E2:
At 2042 hours, a food delivery driver stopped in the 1500 block of 10th Ave to pick up an order and left his vehicle unattended for approximately 2 minutes. Driver returned to find the suspect in his vehicle. The suspect picked up the victim’s phone on the passenger seat and exited the vehicle walking SB on 10th Ave. The victim confronted the suspect, and the suspect stopped and turned and pointed a pistol at the victim and told him that he was going to mess him up. With the victim in fear of being shot, he backed up and stopped his engagement with the suspect. The suspect was last seen WB on E Pike St. Officers conducted an area check for the suspect with negative results.
#2025-174873/Southwest Precinct/Second Watch/F2:
At 1200 hours, South patrol, and Southwest patrol participated in a multi-store retail theft operation at Westwood Village. Officers teamed with loss prevention representatives from Marshalls and Target to identify and then apprehend shoplifters. Six arrests were made between the two stores and the recovery of stolen merchandise. One of the six arrestees was also booked for a felony warrant. This was a team effort by GIU detectives, patrol, and partnership with the loss prevention employees at the two businesses.
