Police Investigating Shooting in Belltown

Seattle police are investigating a shooting in Belltown last night.

At about 11:40 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 400 block of Cedar Street. Officers arrived and found evidence of a shooting, including bullets and a blood trail.

While searching the area, officers found the victim and three others inside of a car nearby. The Seattle Fire Department treated the man, suffering from a gunshot wound to his wrist. Medics transported him to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

A firearm, belonging to the victim, was recovered by police and submitted into evidence.

Detectives in the Gun Violence Reduction Unit are assigned to this case.
