#2025-201682/East Precinct/Second Watch/G3:

At 1447 hours, officers were on an unrelated call when said officers heard glass breaking coming from a residence located near S Lane St and 24 Ave S and a woman inside the residence screaming. Officers quickly ran to the residence to investigate finding that a suspect had just broken the back window of the residence and attempted to gain entry. When the suspect heard the woman, and observed the officers he ran from the location, last seen running eastbound on S Lane St. Containment was quicky set up and K-9 was called to assist. K-9 Officers quicky arrived on scene. The police K-9, along with other officers began their track, with the K-9 locating the suspect in the 2400 BLK of S Lane St hiding behind a garage. The suspect refused to comply, and Type II force was used. The suspect was placed in custody for burglary and booked into KCJ. 242 was notified. FIT screened.

#2025-201788/East Precinct/Second Watch/G2:

At 1633 hours, officers responded to a call for service near the intersection of 17 Ave and E Fir St for a robbery with a firearm. The victim, an Amazon delivery driver, stated that two suspects entered his Amazon delivery vehicle while he was inside, presented a firearm and demanded money. The suspects took 50.00 dollars from the victim and fled westbound. Officers quickly arrived in the area and conducted an area check which led to negative results. Amazon will be able to provide footage from inside the delivery vehicle in 24 hours. Robbery Unit notified.

#2025-201410/South Precinct/Second Watch/S1:

At 1100 hours, SPD ICAC was contacted by law enforcement in Maine regarding a possible suspect near Seattle who committed sex crimes against a child family member. Detectives conducted a swift investigation and concluded at least one child was in immediate risk of harm. WA ICAC Task Force personnel, with the assistance of WSP SWAT & MCTEF, and local and federal partners, served a search warrant on a residence in Burien. The suspect was taken into custody. The suspect was interviewed on scene where he admitted to several felony offenses pertaining to child sex crimes, including hands-on offenses. Additional CSAM was located on-scene on the suspect’s cell phone. The suspect was booked into the King County Jail. A referral for Federal charges is forthcoming.

#2025-202148/West Precinct/Third Watch/M3:

At 2346 hours, officers were proactively patrolling the area of 3 AV/Pike St when they on-viewed an assault in progress. Decisive action by officers led to the quick apprehension of the suspect, who was later found to have a no bail felony DOC warrant for Assault 2nd Degree with a Deadly Weapon. Officers transported and successfully booked the suspect into SCORE jail.

#2025-201809/West Precinct/Second Watch/D3:

At 1647 hours, a PEO was involved in a collision with a bicyclist. Patrol responded and investigated the incident. A Patrol Sergeant and PEO Supervisor responded to the scene. The collision was screened with TCIS and 212.

#2025-202126/North Precinct/Third Watch/U3:

At 2314 hours, Officers responded to a call of shots in the area of NE 75th St/35th Ave NE. Before officers arrived, the victim called in stating he was shot at in the bank parking lot. Officers arrived and located 13 shell casings. Officers contacted the victim who stated he was using the ATM when a male approached him pointing a gun. The suspect demanded money. The victim was also armed with a firearm in his ankle holster. The victim dropped to the ground to get his firearm and the suspect fire at him. The victim returned fire, but no one was injured. The suspect fled the area. The incident was screened with the robbery unit, and officers processed the scene.
