#2025-204930/North Precinct/Second Watch/J2:
At 1424 hours, officers were dispatched to a luring call. The victim stated to officers that she was walking down the street when a white van drove up to her. The driver asked her if she wanted some free candy. The victim declined and kept walking. The suspect then exited the vehicle and started grabbing the victim. The victim punched and kicked the suspect and was able to free herself. The victim then ran home and her mother called the police. Officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate suspect or vehicle. Incident was screened with Homicide and SAU.
#2025-205313/West Precinct/Third Watch/Q1:
At 2224 hours, officers responded to a disturbance in the 2300 block of W Plymouth St where probable cause was established for domestic assault. The suspect refused to exit the residence. Negotiations by patrol and HNT were not successful. A warrant was obtained. Patrol served the warrant, taking the suspect into custody without incident. HNT and 223 were on scene.
