At 2100 hours, North Patrol was dispatched to investigate a suspicious item that resembled military ordinance. ABS responded, rendered the item safe, then recovered it for proper disposal.
#2025-210056/Southwest Precinct/Third Watch/F3:
At 2345 hours, SW Patrol responded to a report of a carjacking in the 9000 block of Delridge Way SW. Officers located the caller a block away who reported that her boyfriend had been in possession of her vehicle at the nearby store. The boyfriend was hostile and completely uncooperative with SPD. The caller advised that her boyfriend had reported that he had been inside the store, left the car running and when he came out, he was attacked by two suspects who pistol whipped him and fled in the car. Staff at the store were unable to corroborate this sequence of events. The owner of the vehicle was given a business card for the stolen vehicle. The victim of the carjacking refused to cooperate and left on foot. Robbery was notified. The vehicle was not located.
